and called it for Brown. He's a big time Dem activist and he was pissed.
I'm still hoping he's wrong.

14. I am totally disillusioned...
Edited on Tue Jan-19-10 08:23 PM by BrklynLiberal
I am physically ill at the turn things have taken.

This is even more heartbreaking than than Kerry's loss because it was SO AVOIDABLE and the repukes are laughing their asses off at the feeble rantings of those Dems who are trying to assign blame instead of getting together and prevent this from happening again!!!

I hope that Brown's victory in MA...as much of a tragedy as it is...will awaken some of those who can do something..to get out there and DO something!!

I am crying..and cannot stop.

I hope they are wrong..but my stomach is aching cause I fear they are right...

3,900 votes for Brown and 3,400 for Coakley certainly not all the votes.

Coakley!

Anecdotally, the reports are turn out was high in the burbs and lackluster in urban areas.

22. If this is true then we are going to have to use the 51 vote option for
every damn thing we want. That is going to be the pits. We start by screwing up health care and that will effect the whole rest of this term. SHIT = the name of a song that we played after the defeat of George McGovern.

Bill Moyers interviews Thomas Frank on how our short attention span has allowed conservatives to BILL MOYERS: You wrote "What's the Matter with Kansas?" Let me ask you to broaden that canvas and ask, with the answer to the question, what's the matter with America that we tolerate all of this?

THOMAS FRANK: I think a large part of it is that-- well, it's the chronic historical forgetting, you know? We just elected Barack Obama in this-- you know, he had quite a mandate. You know, biggest majority of any President since Reagan. And now a year later, and the public is already turning on him. And that's a part of the problem.

I will not tolerate what those teabaging Republicans are doing to my country...Do I want, to see my Grandkids, suffering because we (forgot)? ABOSOLUTELY NOT. What Bush and his henchmen did to our country was criminal..I will not stand by and watch Blue Dogs controling MY party
