4. Unknown.
Someone young and fresh, maybe an unknown.

God knows the money will be there for the right candidate.

Can we take the time now to fix the primary schedule though? 7 weeks between primary and ge is just wrong.

5. Capuano

I saw him in the debate for the Democratic primary, and he looked like he just wanted to tear everybody in that room a new one, including the vapid moderators. He never would have taken this race lying down, and would have been swinging out of the gate because it looks like he just enjoys laying the smackdown on people he doesn't like. IMHO.

I was also impressed by his ads and his stances on most issues. If I was registered to vote in this state (still a CO voter and resident) I would have cast my primary ballot for him. Khazei seemed alright as well, but I don't think he is/was experienced enough to win.

Edit: looks like two other people were thinking along the same lines while I was typing this!

8. Well...
Whichever Democrat challenges Brown must be willing to tour, tour, tour Massachusetts.

The candidate must also be pro-Second Amendment. With the margins being what they are right now, it may be the only way to gain a lead over Brown and chase him out of the Senate.

I don't live in Massachusetts but what I'm hearing is Brown spent more time on the campaign trail than Coakley. Never take anything for granted.
