Is anyone else worried that if Brown wins, lots of Dems will take this as a sign.....
.....that they need to move further right, ala 1994, and toss the Left under an A380 ???

Can someone send them all copies of this movie?:

3. I'm sure the drumbeat has already started...
Hopefully, Obama won't cave to the DLC like Clinton did after 1994.

4. The Dems are going right!
Dems cannot get off of their ass to vote then this is what we deserve.
A teabagger backed by Hannity and monkeys(i.e sports stars).
That is what you get.
Also, anyone who plays a sport is monkey.
Sports are not hard to excel at.
I would expect sports players to be Republican as there is alot of money and very little meaningful work involved.

5. Legislation will move to the right, because they no longer will be able...
to even do what they are doing now.

You can't pass everything with reconciliation.

So it doesn't matter what the Democrats want, what matters is what is possible. There will simply be pieces of legislation that are no longer possible.

Bank regulation and global warming legislatio comes to mind.

But imagine what SCOTUS judges now must pass a 41 vote NO!!!!! Obama may have to put up people like Scalia simply to fill a bench.

Elections have consequences.

My belief is that they will use the result of this election as justification for moving further right - win or lose. I think the movement further right was a forgone conclusion. Period. So, yes, they will use it as an excuse to move further right. But it was gonna happen no matter what.

12. what the Dems really need to do
is to FIRE Tim Kaine and put a REAL DEMOCRAT(not a corporate-owned DLCer) in charge... but I don't see that happening.. they will keep Kaine, move farther to the right, and come November we are fucked. :grr:

to fuck up their opportunities, whether I worry about it or not. They've been doing it for as long as I can remember. I try not to take it too seriously.

23. Because if you don't serve "corporate America" first, you won't be re-elected.
And we all know that National Public SERVICE is not about "service" but about enriching yourself, your family and your beloved cronies. :grr:

The entire system is CORRUPT beyond repair until/unless we see full campaign finance reform.

26. Probably.
They're fucking idiots.

I'm guessing when they move further right, and then watch as all the blue dogs get swept out of Congress, they'll think they need to move even FURTHER right?

The Fox-wing of the Republican party needs to be marginalized, the conservative Democrats need to be Republicans, and we need the progressive wing of the Democratic party to become the new Democrats.
