No, don't think so.

You may as well kiss the weak HCR bill goodbye

This is not the indies tired, it is the people tired... what you think that people will vote for a democrat after all the promises?

Oh never mind

6. They could pass that with a simple majority
and a ten page bill. But they don't WANT to. They want their health care kickbacks-they want to keep their jobs and health care for themselves for life.

They don't really care about people with pre-existing conditions and the immorality of our health care system. If they did they would fix it. I call bullshit on their intentions. Enough of this charade.

8. Actually they put it in this bill because they want to pass it.
It's really no more deeper than that.

But, tonight, everything is fucked up, now. Maybe for 25 more years.
No one really realizes it yet.

But I'll be dead by then.

Thanks for helping us defeat ourselves.

you were superb!

11. Hey I didn't defeat anything
Edited on Tue Jan-19-10 09:46 PM by Generator
I don't live in Mass and I would never vote for that creep. But nice blaming me in Oregon! Thanks. I happen to believe in real health care reform not insurance reform. I know that makes me the enemy of the Dems now, but whatever. Teddy Kennedy was a real Democrat, and by not acting like real Democrats the Democrats achieve nothing. Nothing.

AND You missed my point-they can still pass that provison of the bill if they were serious about it. Are they? Then put it up for a vote on it's own. It's the most important part of the bill to many and something that almost everyone-except the insurance companies the Dems apparently actually work for want.

15. You're right.
Like you, I didn't vote for numbnuts either (from a different state).

But I will tell you straight up something else I didn't do:

I never cheered on the defeat of this health care bill or any Dem candidate for that matter.

And if folks crossed party lines in Massachusetts to "send Obama and/or the DLC a message", I say that is unforgivable.

7. "Hearing us"?
Who the hell is "us"? And if "us" is in any way responsible for or contributed to what happened tonight then "us" had better shut the fuck up and get "our" act together.

10. The American peoole
give you a free clue, Americans DID want health Care, but all the ahem sweet deals soured people on it and a good dose of propaganda.

Well my friend. HRC is most probably dead since they do NOT have the will to do what needs to be done.

They got all they needed and they squandered it.
