Now that Health Care Reform is officially *dead* - do Kill the Bill advocates have "buyers remorse"? |

2. It's dead? Well not really |
|
They'll probably go ahead and pass the Senate version, with a bonus Stupak amendment just to try and appear "bipartisan" again, then we'll all have buyer's remorse.

6. If the bill that was passed would have been one we wanted liked for instance with |

a Medicare-like public option, I would have been spitting nails by now. However, since the bill that will be killed is a POS anyway, not so much. We now have the opportunity to get real health care passed state by state. The insurance companies had killed that option in this bill, so it's back on the table if Brownie votes against it. I think when we get rid of Arnold, California will be the first state to get single payer insurance with the Kuehl bill that has passed our legislature but keeps getting vetoed by Arnold. Once he's gone and replaced by Jerry Brown it will sail through and it's a beginning for other states to emulate.
