The *ONLY* good thing about tonight is that it is 10 months until the midterms

10 months is an ETERNITY in politics.


If we have 10 straight months of job growth, dow growth, low inflation, and other progress between now and then... we'll be ok.


If not... tonight was just a preview.



After all.. after getting clobbered in '94, Clinton came back to win in a landslide in '96. After getting clobbered all across the county in '08, the Repukes won a seat in a blue state tonight.


10 months is plenty of time to change the trajectory.

1. The banks need to be broken up and re-regulated.
That has to happen.
Use reconciliation if needed.
