If Tim Kaine has an ounce of self respect he should resign in the morning.
He's 0 for Everything.
And if Obama wants to salvage anything he should ask Howard Dean to come back and take over for Kaine at least through the next election cycle.

3. the likelyhood of that happening
are somewhere between pigs flying and hell freezing over.

As much as I'd love to see it happen.. I think things are just going to continue as they are until we lose big in November and get our wake up call.. I hope I'm wrong but after tonight I just don't have any faith left.

6. Obama Never Holds Anyone Accountable
Not Geitner not Rahm not Baucus not Lieberman. No one. Everyone can walk all over him.

Kaine is secure.

14. Someone has to fall on his sword specifically for the election problems.
Kaine clearly is 'out of his element.'

15. Amen!!
When Dean were in charge we were winning elections and very motivated.. since Dean has been gone and his 50 state strategy scrapped... it's been one loss after another and I don't see that changing unless there is a major shake up at the DNC!

18. Even if Dean's not really the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, it would be like hitting reset.
Losing Kaine means nothing and bringing back Dean even for the short-term would inspire a lot of people to hang in there and keep their chins up.

17. Kaine is the least of our problem
The democratic party has been infiltrated by too many neocons. The same neocons that told us that Bush impeachment is off the table. Once the democrats get rid of these f'king neocons everything would be fine. We donot need a GOPlite

19. Kaine is the CRUX of our problems; the posterboy of our problems.
From an elections standpoint, anyway. Someone central has to go down for this.
Failing that, we lose any change of pulling our chances back together.
