So, some of my fellow Massachusetts voters are saying "sanity has returned."
It really boggles my mind. No, people, "Sanity" is not defined as "Returning to Washington a member of the same political party that was chased out of power 14 months ago like whipped dogs scurrying away with their tails between their legs."

"Sanity" does not mean "Letting one of the same assholes who wrecked our economy, started two needless wars, and robbed the treasury to pamper the rich back into power for more of the same."

"Sanity" does not equate "Giving the driver's seat to a mindless flunky who would have made the EXACT same choices that brought our country to the brink of ruin between 2001 and 2009 - and will gleefully, happily and gladly make the same choices again, proving that some people and their supporters are incapable of learning."

To me, "Sanity" means learning from the past, recognizing there's more to life than tax cuts and a mantra of me, me, me, and understanding that you don't let a child molester run the daycare center. Because that's what Republicans are in government: predators who victimize the weak.

To the rest of the nation, sorry, I did my best: I voted for Coakley.

1. If sanity is a right wing, bigoted, homophobic Nazi, well...yes I guess there will be sanity.
Pretty faces often hide monsters within.

7. As did I.
On behalf of Massachusetts I want to apologize to the other 49 states.

We'll kick him out in 2012--we promise.

9. "Sanity returns" after sending Ted Kennedy to that seat
for 47 years? What the hell kind of kool aid are they drinking? That doesn't even make sense if you deconstruct it. Like, we could not wait for him to die and leave that seat so we could send an idiot there? Sheesh.

Anyway, thanks for your vote, and know that this out of stater sent a few bucks your state's way to try to help out. Appreciate your efforts and vote.

10. If they think this campaign was insanity.....Well they
Havn't seen nothing yet... A GREAT number of voters need to get involved we need to take our country back from the Teabaggers...they are organized...they have loud voices, their message is SMALLER GOV.....The dam fools don't realize smaller gov. means less regulation it means Wall Street can do it again and they will. We just have to out shout them. How does a carpenter build a house..FROM THE BOTTOM.... UP THATS HOW..we need to impower ourslves. Join your local Democratic party...We see the great number of people at conventions and I know this to be true....you see them when it's time to elect our convention representatives. But they never show up for fundraising events they never write letters to the editor, they never show up for meetings.
