Not necessarily so. They do prevail more often than you may think. When you're upset about a defeat, it's just easy to forget that. Totally understandable.

I think it's good to look at positives as well, but I don't see many substantial victories. My biggest hope isn't Obama, it's the people who voted for him, the people who rallied under "the idea of Obama" and fought for him.
