now no onus to have a super-duper-pooper-scooper majority to get blamed or defunded for voting for a health care reform bill that is either a. a communist plot or b. a insurance company giveaway or c. an insurance company giveaway with a smidgen of a possibility that it would be eventually changed into some resemblance of a health coverage bill that is truly representative of the public interest (in which case for moron baggers and ceos would deem it to fall under a.)

democrats that can run an effective 2008 prez election know how to get things done. If they don't want to offend their corporate contributers, the suddenly become bumblers.

i just don't buy the wrong step theory - the centrists really are more republican than democrat. If your interests are republican, then you're going to make sure that anything in the public interest fails.
