If a republican can win in Mass, a Democrat can win in Texas |
|
All they need is for their opponent to run a terrible campaign that takes the voters for granted. And for that opponent to say Troy Aikman is a Redskin fan.

2. Wake up from your dream |

Get real. This is same momentum as we had in 2008. If economy stays bad, Obama may not even run in 2012

5. Well, that would be good in that it would pave the way for us to run somebody else... |
|
...who could win and turn things around. Think Grayson, Kucinich, etc. Ok, more than likely that won't happen, but I'm just saying, such possibilities do exist.

We are working hard toward it here. I wish Bill White would have run for the Kay's Senate seat, but he switched to the governor's race. Now if the Dems had a brain, they would have run Bill for Senate and Hank Gilbert for governor, and I do believe we would have had a chance to get two key positions.

Houston just elected an openly gay female mayor.
Historically most of our governors and senators have been dems.
And the state house and senate are about 50/50.
And a lot of people are quite unhappy with Perry, with a coming repub bloodbath of a governors race coming up.

13. Houston is a wonderfully independent, diverse place. It |

actually more fully represents the Texas I grew up in before the bushes and other oil greedy carpetbaggers took the place over.

10. The teabagger did very well. |
|
She got like a 8 point bump in the polls after the debate and she's been added to the second debate. This year has been very entertaining so far. That's the first Republican debate I think I've EVER watched. heh.

15. After MA, the republicans must be thinking Palin can be the nominee for them in 2012. |
|
Her stock went up tonight with the republicans, to the delight of teabagging right wingers and birthers.
