Our Party leadership is demonstrating once again that it stands for nothing, has no principles, and cannot even play the political game with anything resembling skill.
What happened tonight is going to be repeated across the country in 2010.
We stand for nothing. The other side plays us for fools because we are in fact lead by fools.
This administration mistook a good electoral strategy: claim the middle, for a governing strategy. This administration needs to accept the blame for what happened tonight, instead they will blame the base they abandoned from day one. Rather than rethinking how to govern, this administration and our party's congressional leadership will proceed to move even further right. 2010: the year the teabags took over.

The GOP worked throughout two Reagan terms before they completely sold out.
Our party seemed to think it was Christmas morning on January 21, 2008.

We will be lucky to maintain our majority in BOTH the senate and the house. This unrealistic arrogance from Obama down through our party is why we had this train wreck in Mass.
We loose 7 senate seats at a min
Probably 40 in the house.
We may keep the official majority, but Obama is a lame duck as of tonite.
Only hope is he wakes up and cleans house on Wednesday. Get rid of his buddies who got him elected, but have no idea how politics in washington work.
Time to bring in professionals.

But both sides are being led by those who would be kings. They stopped listening to us, and both sides are disillusioned. America is in peril.

It's only been 16 years, and that failure resulted in a bogus impeachment after years of nonstop investigations of all things Clinton.
