I saw Robert Gibbs a few days ago. Those guys don't think any of these losses relate to them.
Bill Clinton made first year mistakes, but he learned from them. Unfortunately, he learned too late and it cost him the House, which ultimately resulted in his impeachment on the weakest of grounds. The president needs to take a good look at 93-94 and figure out how to avoid losing congress.

21. Well he'd better get on with it then, because he's just been handed a failure. |
|
He needs to go back and take inventory. WHO voted for him? WHO donated money to him? WHO got him elected?
Was it the right wing? The Republicans?
He needs to have a long talk with himself, then get his SHIT BACK TOGETHER and take a hard left turn. If he doesn't, he'll watch his majority and his party go down the crapper, little by little.

I mean, no one is saying anything--about a...naked guy on your post.
Looks like a 70's porn star...who is he and why is he in this OP?

Although we won't know exactly what went wrong for us for a few days- until we get some good polling date, I am fairly certain that Obama not being left enough will NOT be one of the deciding factors. I just think that Coakley ran a bad campaign and the Repubs saw an opening and exploited it. Plus, it was an off-year election, which traditionally sees less turnout (while the Repubs were particularly energized). I bet, however, we could pick Brown off in 2012 with a better candidate.
