And on his commercials, his only qualification seemed to be that he "owned a truck" and "one of his daughters did well on American Idol".

W. T. Fucking F. :wtf: :nuke:

8. It is terribly sad,
but whats worse for me is as sad as Brown is.. alot of people voted for him over our person.. whats that say about us?

Maybe it boils down to people vote for change... either politicians provide change.. or the voters will.

Ignore me.. I'm just a little disgusted right now.

14. That says that Dems and Coakley did not take this seriously enough.
I think they thought they had it in the bag. They were wrong. But I feel so bad for the Kennedy's, and Teddy's legacy if that gets shot down.

I'm disgusted, too, and frankly shocked by the Dems in MA.

5. Sarah Palin with a d---.
Spouting populist rhetoric but actually a far right lunatic and not much gray matter. We've seen this play before.

He got elected for the same reasons Arnold did in California

20. That's the perfect analogy.
Since he'll do to Massachusetts what Arnold did in California. It's the Republicans self-fulfilling prophecy of how government doesn't work. :grr:

21. I wish he'd only do it to Massachusetts.
I'd feel bad for the minority of people who voted for Coakly, but those who voted for Brown or didn't vote would deserve it. Unfortunately, he's going to help the Senate keep the whole country fucked.

:-(

19. As opposed to......
An attorney general that failed to take action against a curling iron child rapist because that person had big union ties?

Scott Brown is a state senator. He's an educated lawyer. He's more qualified than a lot of senators in congress, including other republicans.

26. He gained momentum when he said something like
"It's not Ted Kennedy's seat. It's the people's seat." Catchy phrases won the election I guess. :(
