John Quincy Adams, Daniel Webster, Charles Sumner, Henry Cabot Lodge
were all predecessors to Edward M. Kennedy as custodians or trustees of that U.S. Senate seat from Massachusetts.

The march of time.

1. Brown will get dumped in 2012
when it is obvious he is just another Bush/Cheney-like tool in the Rush Limbaugh party of NO.

3. He will run for re-election in the Senate and as his party's nominee for President simultaneously.
He might get dumped for both, but he will be running for both.

6. Thune is a far more likely bet. Just because you don't know of any
potential candidates, doesn't mean they don't exist. I'd love to take that bet.

7. Brown gets the minority vote. Say Thune out loud. It's like you're spitting.
