Just call me the Happy Warrior: What the MA Election Means to Me |
|
I am just going to fight back....
If I want a good jobs bill, I am going to work for it. If I want HCR and I mean HCR, I am going to work for it. If I want Women's Rights, I am going to work for it. If I want Gay Rights, I am going to work for it. If I want EFCA, I am going to work for it. If I want this country to go Green, I am going to work for it. If I want a decent retirement system in this country, I will work for it.
Election 2008 was a promise of good things to come, and I am going to work for those promises. I will see that those promises are kept.
I have no problem putting my back into it.
I want stuff, not cheap crap at Walmart and I am going to go get it. I dont have the time to moan over any elected official, either they are with me or I will roll them.
Any doubters, Watch Me!

3. Much needed kick in the butt to remind us that the fight's only just begun. |
|
As soon as I'm done with my Cardio Rehab and have some strength back, I'll use your post as a reminder to myself to resume the good fight.
There will be setbacks, but overall victory is the goal that we need to use as our main objective.
I'm not ready to concede everything due to one election outcome. There is strength in doing all that we can do locally to make our voices heard nationally.
