Time to move forward with the Senate bill. |
|
Stopping at this point will be a major screw up. If "a" bill isn't signed into law now, it may not truly have a chance on the table again for years. Take advantage of the positives in the Senate HCR bill, and pass it! Any dent we can make in what the insurance companies are subjecting us to will be a positive. I say we break precedence, and pass this in the House without sending it back to the Senate. Fuck 'em... the GOP hasn't shown any interest in helping or developing legislation that would suit them, and they won't in the future. The citizens of this country deserve HCR... this decade, not next. At least where we are now, exclusions of coverage and denials of coverage will end eventually... but we have to start now with what we have.
Oh... and Fuck Scott Brown and Martha Coakley both!

will be out of power for a generation. That counts all the new people Obama brought in that voted for change.

2. While I understand that logic... |

But... the Dems are accomplishing nothing as things are now. Why worry so much about preserving the Dems position when it is showing to be fruitless?? Pass the bill and claim a victory for doing the right thing.
