If I may be so bold to ask...
...why do people post stories from FOX or discuss what they heard on Limbaugh or whatnot?

First, I think half of it is thinly disguised infiltration tactics.

Second, while some may claim it's enemy "intelligence" (a whole separate dispute) this is a liberal/progressive forum. If we wanted to hear from the other side we could just loosen the enrollment rules.

But I don't. That's why I'm here.

I'm not asking for a banning of offenders or deletion of threads. I'm asking people to please take care about what toxic refuse they bring in here.

Sorry if I sound grouchy, I'm not trying to be.

:hi:

1. It's so we can laugh at them.
I don't find anything from Limpbaugh funny, but freepers crack me up.

2. Does the "unicorn" in your username mean you're a "Sag?"

3. You have me at a loss...
...what is a "Sag?"

My name derives from people who know me who say I'm such an optimist I can make unicorns appear. The nuclear was added by the BF who has seen me on one of the few occassions I got my hackles up and lit into someone.

5. Ah!
Sorry no.

I'm too much of an atheist to go in for astrology. No offense to any who do, it's just me.

10. There is NO Astrological sign featuring the unicorn.
The only sign featuring a unicorn is pink and purple and hangs over an 11-year old girl's bed.

9. If you don't like it...
Use hide thread. Please. "Know thine enemy" is a long-standing and much used tactic in all war, especially wars waged with words.

You have the power to hit "hide thread" and you have the power to bitch and moan about things you read because you don't use "hide thread." The choice is yours.

Sorry if I sound grouchy... no, fuck that... I am grouchy on this topic. And I get uber grouchy on the topic of limiting free speech around here.
