What we need right now is a liberal Tom DeLay
Some of y'all are wondering, "how did the Republicans manage to push through Bush's agenda with a far smaller majority than the Democrats have?" The answer is, Tom DeLay.

Known as "the hammer," DeLay was a thug. Anything DeLay wanted, DeLay got. He was the House Republican Whip but he told the Senate and the White House what he wanted, and they gave in to him far more often than not.

Look: if we could find someone even a tenth as nasty as DeLay is and set him to work, we'd be a hell of a lot better off. Now...who's it going to be?

2. I Think That's What Rahm Emanuel Was Supposed to Be
It just didn't turn out like people might have expected.

4. I know some people are about to start in with "but we don't want that kind of discipline"
they are stubbornly and conveniently ignoring that this kind of whip cracking discipline exists already in DC, it's just being exercised against the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party.

7. Kind of, but I thought you'd understand it
DeLay was the kind of guy, you did what he wanted or he got you road demolition funds.
