Poll question: The "Why We STILL Can't Dump Joe Lieberman" Poll |
|
Edited on Wed Jan-20-10 04:18 PM by last1standing
Well folks, there are only 59 senators caucusing with the Democrats now so that mythical super-majority is no more. However, the lingering taint that Joe Lieberman brings to the party in his senior positions on many committees still remains unscathed. While there will be many cries to get rid of Holy Joe, I think we all know it'll never happen. So in the spirit of possibly the one thing nearly all DUers can agree on, I present:
Why We STILL Can't Dump Joe Lieberman!

so often, I'm surprised he isn't reduced to mandible on one side. Sadly, it has gotten us nothing.
I don't get it... I really don't.

it's time to come together around a bill that can draw Republican support, too.
Are you fucking kidding me? God, I'm mad!

5. That option does seem to be more popular than the others. |
|
I haven't voted yet, myself. I'm leaning for the testicles in a box option.

9. It should have, shouldn't it? |
|
Maybe campaigning for the republican candidate should have set off alarms, but it didn't. Maybe his history of blocking Democratic initiatives should have warned them, but nope. I would probably have taken the hint when he was on the tube every Sunday talking up bush's* war at all cost and tax cuts to the bone plans, but they didn't catch on then, either.
I wonder why....?

The Dems have no cajones and Lieberman obviously knows where the bodies are buried.
