A move "down" is what is needed, not one in either lateral direction
Moving to the "left" or the "right" is completely missing the whole point of what is wrong with Washington.

The power elite need to move their focus "down" to where the majority of Americans live, in the trenches of daily living and surviving in this economy.

Any lateral move in Washington is just shuffling the chairs on the Titanic, imho.
