What in the H is Tweety smoking or taking. He is Crazed today. |
|
Worse than yesterday with Rachel Maddow he is making an interruptive utter fool of himself, many times worse than usual. Howard Dean whom he overran just now, or let me rephrase that, attempted to overrun, called him all but crazy. And it was justified.
As a result of the wiping over Howard's mouth with incessant attempts to prevent him from even finishing a sentence or thought the fact that he was an invited guest became irrelevant, it is all but impossible to know any of his opinions, because his entire time he had to expend energy to stand up to Tweety's acting like a Mac truck on steroids.
Chris Matthew's yelling, the grand standing, the attempting to override Howard Dean's thought before it was expressed, the second guessing and being wrong at it to boot, almost made me destroy my TV.
I don't have MSNBC's email handy right now, but next I will go to the website and start ranting.
I hope some others who watched this despicable and discourteous behavior by Matthews will also complain. He really is acting like he is chemically augmented. I swear he made me mad.
Howard Dean made the best of an impossible situation, at one point suggesting that Matthews hold up a mirror to see "crazy".
Well done Howard Dean. I wish you were still in charge. You know how to do it, not just by saying but also by doing.
I'm a life long fan.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I remember it had something to do with the Irish Catholics firefighters. Tweety is Irish Catholic and went on an incredible rant against Sotomayor.

30. That show was the end for me and Chris as well |
|
You know, it was not just 'whites only' he was arguing for, it was Irish Catholic only. And the panel that discussed it that day was all Irish Catholic. All of them. More, they were all East Coast, political elite, highly connected Irish Catholics. Not one African American voice, nor even a non Irish Catholic voice. Not one Protestant. Not one firefighter. It was a disgusting display and one I will not forget.

he was awful today with Dean! Insufferable is the word that comes to mind. Dean handled it masterfully.

claims he favors ... even if he is contractually obligated to say a few nasty things about Repugs, which he normally seems to be trying to get out of the way this year so he can focus on getting Republicans to take over the House and Senate again ...

7. His Weathervane is blowing all over the place... |
|
Tweety thinks he's the paragon of "conventional wisdom"...it's from all those drinkie-drinkie parties and telephone tag games he plays with his beltway buddies. He views politics as a bloodsport and has annointed himself as the "referee"...he loves all the angst as he thinks it makes him and his "opinion" hold more weight.
I take what Tweety says with a grain of salt as tomorrow the winds will change and so will his song and dance.

I GET what Dean says. I feel the same way. Mathewes enjoys trying to trap people; but even that's difficult to do when you don't let the entrap-pee speak!

10. The current situation is exactly what the guy thrives on. |
|
He loves a big political flap with all sorts of complications & other bullshit. It's all predictable & boring already. When there was really something to talk about, say the bogus run up to the Iraq war, the guy totally missed it & babbled on about trivia & celebrity. He's some kind of half assed comedian or something.

I had at one point half way forgiven him for being a jackass, and as I am likely to do, just accepted him as he is since "right now" he seems to be singing our tune to some degree. But as of today, that's over. I will soon be svelte like you, then.

I, too, was watching and wondering why he even asked Dean on the show if he wasn't going to let him speak. It was a very hard interview to watch. I thought his interview last night with Mayor Menino was a good one, so I was especially surprised to see him do such a poor job today. IMO, Dean deserves an apology.

LOL. good phrase.
I had to give Tweety up. After about the 3rd time I watched him, actually. Horrible voice, won't shut up, grandstands, rude, loud. Like Palin on speed, but with more coherent sentence structure, sometimes.
Sigh..I miss the news. The quiet calm voices that reported what is happening, that used to believe that "being" the news was to be avoided

It's not necessarily an excuse. I find him very difficult to watch, but I know he has diabetes and I think it could be he gets out of control because his diabetes is out of control - it really could be a chemical imbalance going on with him. It could have a profound affect on him. He needs to address this because his show is often just too difficult to watch.

Dean's spin on the MA Senate race outcome was just ridiculous. He couldn't even keep a straight face while spinning it. It's amazing if anyone bought that laughable position.
