Obama needs to read up on the Johnson Treatment and then take AF1 to home states of all the Blue Dog

Senators and start recruiting primary candidates to run against them or at least pick at the worst ones who are most immediately up for election and let the others get the message.

He needs to make it clear he's gonna stop in their state a dozen times, hand pick an opponent to run these Blue Dogs out and fund raise them out the door.

Of course this will probably never happen because Obama can't hold a candle to Johnson in the cat herding department.
