Is it time for President Obama to hold a press conference? |
|
It's been over 6 months. Even the bush thing held more frequent press conferences. He needs to get out there and answer questions in an open manner. And I don't mean a joint presser with some foreign leader.

It would go a long way in keeping his promise of "transparency" in his administration.

The time for talk is over. Now is the time to act. And the first action must be to fire and prosecute Tim Geithner.

3. Press conferences are routinely useless |
|
They`re rarely more than a beltway showdown between competing, predictable talking points developed by competing, predictable handlers.
I`ve heard enough talk. Time for action, like jobs, affordable health care, and maybe one of those wars many presidents have been so so good at, only the next one on poverty.
