Question on Scotus decision |
If Corporations can now influence (buy) elections directly, do they really need to buy individual politicians? If I were a fat-creep CEO, I would tell the dude or dudess with his/her hand out to go suck a pig. All the Corps need do is promote fear-fear-fear and the common folk will fall all over themselves to vote against themselves. This is win-win for business........they will save a stack of money in the long haul. Will all the lobby crowd be getting pink slips? Just some thoughts............

3. There is a populist issue Obama could get the majority of |
Americans Republican and Democrat to back. I think nearly everyone can agree we have to get lobbyist and money out of politics, this country has become ungovernable. Will anybody do it? Nooooooo

4. It will make overt collusion between business leaders and candidates for office far easier. |
Candidates who do not obey the wishes of business leaders will simply be outspent in a contest against candidates who are willing to obey.
