"Stop into your nearest Wal Mart and get your Registered Republican Discount Card!" |

With the SCOTUS removing the barrier between commercial and political advertising, who know how much mischief we're going to see?

Congress is already bought and paid for, and the money comes from the corporations, one way or another. They have found ways to funnel the money to the candidates that will do their dirty work, and as you said, not it will simply be out in the open.

7. But this frees them to do it openly -- That IS a big change |
|
People are going to get used to wall-to-wall commercials from GE, WalMart, Bank America, etc. openly telling them that they must support corporate candidates, and it will add to the general mental fog we have fallen into.

Fucking Supreme Court.
Total bullshit.
I know that the conservatives on the SC are fucking dumb and darn near criminal, but this is a travesty.
What we'll see in 2012: Mitt Romney running for president with a $2 billion WalMart bankroll, and he'll have WalMart and FoxNews and other rightwing corporations stickers all over his suits.
It'll finally be actually honest about who's buying the Republicans, but it will stink worse than it does now.
