Maybe this Supreme Court ruling will energize the Democratic base and get people more concerned |

...the SC ruling also gives a lot more power to labor unions, which our party members are afraid to offend (note the sweet deal unions got in the now-defunct health care negotiations--being exempt from the Cadillac health plan tax!)

...I don't know enough about the issue to answer your question. However, if we ever do get a health care reform bill passed, regardless of its size & scope, it HAS TO BE PAID FOR. This means we--all of us--will have to give up some of our hard-earned dollars, be it in the form of taxes, fees, or whatever

6. If my facebook friends are any indication---this is being met by yawns and kool-aid sips |
|
It really is amazing how many so-called liberals repeat right wing propaganda.
I really believe that Robert Frost quote about a liberal being a man so broad-minded he refuses to take his own side in an argument.

8. same here. No one even gets it, or cares. |

I'm seriously thinking of moving to my husband's home country (france)..staying here and fighting is what I want to do, but no one seems to care, and I just come off as a nutball.

10. I'm really starting to grow more and more furious with uninformed liberals |
|
So many of my uninformed friends make right wing points (like "acknowledging" that there's a liberal media), they perceive the whole political spectrum backwards, and when the chips are down, they really just don't give a shit. They're like the D's in Congress--would often rather impress a right winger than defend their ideology.
Is there something in the liberal psychological makeup that leans toward self-sabotage? I really think so.
