The Mexican Red Cross collected 2,835 tons of goods, read water, rice, beans, oil and all that.... that Haitians need.

In order to distribute it, they had to classify, separate and pack in individual family boxes, which is standard.

It took 11,200 volunteers to receive it, classify it, pack it. Then send it over to Veracruz for the Navy to transport.

I hope this gives you guys an idea of the logistics involved in this.

After all this is just a small view into the enormous effort. and realize this is before it physically gets there.

Oh and all these items were donated by the population. This is not including the money, or things like tents, and blankets and all that.
