Today's SCOTUS ruling harms this country more than Bush v. Gore |
|
As bad as that was, it was temporary. It will takes years to dig out from the damage Bush caused, but we'll dig out.
But today's ruling effectively completes the transformation of this country to Mussolini style fascism.
Within a couple election cycles, the conversion of our government to a corporatocracy will be complete.
This is 1000 times more important than losing Ted Kennedy's seat for two years.
...and America won't be informed about it, because the corporations control the airwaves. The sheeple will be told this is a "free speech" issue and they'll baaaah and bleat and do nothing.
Canada's looking better all the time.

5. today's ruling happened BECAUSE of Bush v. Gore. |
|
had Gore been allowed to serve his rightfully elected term... and won re-election in 2004... we would not have Roberts and Alito on the USSC and instead have justices who actually read and interpret the Constitution the way it's supposed to be, not the way they see fit.
