Let's boycott Corporations that are spending on behalf of Republican candidates |
|
This would be a way of fighting back against the Supreme Court decision.

2. Possible. But in order to effect the money they will be giving to republicans, it would |
|
require that a huge segment of the population be involved in boycotts.

The Internet would be a big help with this.

14. wouldn't it be easier to just get them to vote for democratic candidates? |
|
the number of people needed to make a boycott effective would probably be more than enough to win most elections.

3. how about boycotting massive corporations that should be broken up |
|
through anti-trust measures?
there are PLENTY of those.
the ones acting in bad faith should be avoided.
or, better yet, unionized.

5. IF Grayson's disclosure law is passed, this could be possible |
|
But as I understand it, right now, they don't even have to disclose, or can channel the $ through Chamber of commerce or other orgs to shield themselves.

6. Good in theory but probably not practical |
|
Americans need their corporate jobs and they want to buy their corporate crap.
I'm sitting here stewing while watching KO and wondering if the PEOPLE could somehow incorporate? We have to fight this.
This is really the stuff of revolution, nobody is going to like this ruling except the beneficiaries, Republican politicians.
Has anyone seen a poll on this issue yet? I bet 80+% of the people will be against this ruling. If that's the case, the SCOTUS is not working for the people as they have sworn to do. They should retract the ruling or be impeached IMO.

have no business in politics at all. Period.

19. We would need to boycot corporations that spend on behalf of ANY candidate |
|
of ANY party. If we somehow could stop them from funding Republicans, and only Republicans, then they would simply corrupt the Democrats.
