Millions of Americans will be watching the SOTU speech next Wednesday

That's the perfect opportunity for Barack Obama, the Constitutional lawyer, to educate the populace about what today's Supreme Court ruling really means.

Without the filter of corporate-controlled media.

He'll have the undivided attention of a VERY large chunk of the nation's citizenry.

And the corporations will have to wait until AFTER the speech to try to spin it.

I'm not talking about the WHOLE speech... but a well-worded 5 or 10 minute segment on the threat this poses to our democracy would do WONDERS.

Don't be surprised if he does it. His statement on the ruling today was VERY blunt and you could read the anger in it.

3. I always wondered why there are never any power point
type presentations when politicians and the President speaks . Many people learn with a visual representation rather than just listening.

I think things need spelled out and fast.

7. Educating the public about what this really means is the most important step he can take

Because unless the public knows what this means, there will never be a groundswell of support for an amendment.

He has to use some of his SOTU time on Wednesday for unfiltered education of the public on the SCOTUS action.

8. Agree completely. "without the filter...
Cause you just know the media outlets love this. Think of how much money that means in their coffers at election time.

10. I won't bother to watch it. I can't stand the difference between what Obama
says and what he actually does.

I'll rent a movie instead.
