Question: Does the SCOTUS decision change contribution limits? |
|
Here in AZ a person cannot contribute more than $840 to any candidate. PACs and Super PACs can contribute a few thousand. So if a corporation can contribute money to, say, our Governor's race, how much can they give?
Second question is that Arizona, like many states and the federal government, allow candidates to contribute an unlimited amount of their own personal monies to their election. Does this decision allow, say Michael Bloomberg, to use millions from his corporate coffers in addition to his personal wealth?

1. This is an excellent question. It seems to me that any ad could be and should be classified |
|
as a campaign contribution.
