If corporations can now spend freely to endorse or oppose candidates of their choice, the question becomes - where do they get the money to do so?
From you and I, of course. We spend our money and they profit from that. Well, if there are no more profits for them to generate, then there will be no money for them to spend.
So this is a challenge. Stop buying things from the corporations that will do the most damage. Stop being the eyeballs that pay for the advertising. Stop borrowing their money to buy stuff you probably don't need anyway, and then paying interest for the privilege. Stop giving them your money. It's well past time to starve this beast. We are NOT helpless. Join a credit union instead of using the big banks. Join a CSA, go to the farmer's market and cook more often. Cancel the cable TV, the credit cards and quit driving so much. Dump your "health" insurance if you are healthy. Buy local. Buy from Blue companies. Or do without. Look at it as a character-building exercise.
We are NOT helpless!
I'll go first...

4. It already looks like that. The paperwork just caught up with the reality. |
|
Now, they just have to eliminate a few more of those "rights" things.....

Vote with your money - adopt a way of life that conforms to your beliefs.
I stopped buying foreign (non-first-world) goods a while back in protest of all the jobs being shipped overseas to slave labor markets. Whatever impoverishment of this country is going on, won't be by my hand.

I heat with wood, own no TV (actually, I own a TV but no converter box), drink water from my own spring, eat food I raised and canned, barter organic berry jam for haircuts, and drive a 23 year old truck. How's that for starters.
I think yours is a great idea.
Eat the rich.

I have said repeatedly that the flow of money to the corporatocracy must stop. Their primary objective is also their biggest weakness, there's got to be a way to exploit that.
