Gore dropped out after 2000 and realizing that their pushing to get him

to drop his populist messages hurt him.

Some others have left --

So I think one answer is making voters more aware of the corporate-DLC and

thereby making them less likely to vote for a DLC'er --

Obama certainly tried to distance himself from them during the campaign and

obviously that was because he understood the negative feelings about them.

It was one very real reason why I wouldn't vote for HCR -- and had I known that

Obama would elope into the White House with Rahm, I never would have voted for him!


Not all of the public understands what the DLC is or even that it's there --

so EDUCATION and INFORMATION is primary.

Will we hear our corporate-press advising voters that the DLC works for corporate

interests? I doubt it!


Also, many here have stopped giving $$$ to any but individual candidates whom they

trust -- and non-DLC. Therefore the party, itself, is being deprived of financial

support as long as it remains affiliated with the DLC.


And all suggestions as to how to boot the DLC out are welcome!!

I will mention, however, that Obama tried to distance himself from the DLC

in his campaign. Believe me, if I had any idea of what he would do in selecting

advisers, I would not have voted for him.

There is no moving back or away from Bush policies -- and more corporatism is

coming down on us.
