If there is no limit on what the Corps can spend on political advertising

then there should be no limit on how much I can give to my Dem candidates.

I should be able give them 300 million if I had it, and I would still be in the right.

In effect it is the same thing.

There is no difference.

A five year old would be able to see the the deliberate flaw in this ruling.

2. Worse yet couldn't a foreign corporation
one even owned by an individual outside the USA or even the Chinese government buy the US government.

3. Yep.
That's where we are heading.

Might as well beat them to it,
and move to China.
I'm sure they will be better off than we will be.

You ARE free to spend that $300M on advertising...and always have been.

Now, corporations are too.

That's all this ruling did.

5. A rather lackluster flaw considering the differential in resources at work
but if you have it feel free to make all the commercials it will buy just keep in mind Exxon still has more than enough to bury your 300 million and they are just one company.
