The way it looks from where I'm sitting

The President and all senior Democratic leadership are going to sit quietly for six weeks until the Republicans settle in with their new majority and have time to decide what to do with their sweeping national mandate to run the country. After that, they will work diligently to enact all Republican legislation while looking to see what leftover corporate cash might be available to them after the Republicans get their fair share first.

Folks, it is really time for us to stand up and fight, because our elected leaders are clearly indicating that none of what we wanted matters enough to them to even show up to work for it. They have no faith, no belief, and no use for any of us. I'm going to become more politically active than ever this year.
