Gallup catapults propaganda for the Supreme Court decision
Apparently, all you horrified folk should STFU already because nobody agrees with you: Gallup's webpage today trumpets Public Agrees With Court: Campaign Money Is "Free Speech"

If, however, you read the article you will find it has little to do with the Supreme Court decision. The Court threw out restrictions on corporate spending to support or oppose candidates but has not (yet) thrown out restrictions on direct donations to campaigns. Gallup, however, discusses polls allegedly showing Americans consider campaign donations to be a protected form of free speech as evidence that Americans' broad views about corporate spending in elections generally accord with the Supreme Court's decision Thursday that abolished some decades-old restrictions on corporate political activity. Curiously, Gallup says its polling simultaneously indicates that the majority think it is more important to limit campaign donations than to protect this free-speech right ... By 52% to 41%, Americans say placing limits on contributions is paramount for them

Gallup misrepresents the Supreme Court decision and cites polling results (from early last October!) as evidence the public agrees with the court ruling

1. Of course Gallup is run and has always been run by people who+
happen to be Conservatives. The very honestly admit their
poll is skewed Republican because and this is a valid point
Republicans vote. You cannot depend on Dems to go out to
vote.

A poll skewed Republican might come up with these results.
GOP believes Money is Speech. I am sure they have convinced
many of their followers likewise.

4. The poll isn't bullshit, the title is
Scroll down the page

More specifically, 61% of Americans think the government should be able to limit the amount of money individuals can contribute to candidates and 76% think it should be able to limit the amount corporations or unions can give.

I don't see that as the public agreeing with the court
