What would the Republicans allow us to pass if we gave them tax-free capital gains?
You'd think we could trade that one off for just about anything we wanted.

11. When Bush the First was running for Pres, one of his main speaking points was this:
He spoke strongly against people who burned the US flag...

I would imagine 2 things would happen: The capital gains investors would be dancing in the streets, and the GOP would claim credit for it and condemn the Democrats for taxing the non-working hereditary rich.
And people would believe them.
