Can a corporation get cancer and then not be able to afford treatment? |
|
No. They have no actual life that will be irreparably harmed by draconian, selfish, short-sighted action.
When I hear all the Republicans screaming that corporations deserve free speech I want to scream. Now corporations can spend unlimited funds spreading propaganda on their media after the Supreme Court destroyed a century of law meant to restrain the power of the monied elites.
So, doesn't that mean that a health care firm can now spend all it want to unseat a politician that supports health care reform? But a corporation which is allowed the same rights as a human can't suffer harm to their life.
Did a Republican god give life to both humans and businesses, or did the real god to actual living creatures? Does this cement the fact that Republicans do not value actual life that's actually living? Yes.

1. Corporations ARE cancers. |
|
Small corporations usually don't do much damage, and if they get annoying, just cut them out and be done with it.
But once they metastasize, you need an all out assault on that shit or it will kill you.

3. They now get the profits of risk-taking - but WE take the risk |
|
They now get the benefits of corporate person hood - but WE can suffer loss of life, and corporations can't.
When will the moderates figure out that they're in the middle of the road and getting run over?

2. In our world when a Corporation gets cancer |
|
it runs to congress to find a cure. Be it monetary bailout, environmental clean up, and even when they think their labor costs are too high.

6. Oh no. But a union member can. So comparing apples to oranges |
|
is all I can think of when I heard McCain worried about the ruling, and citing unlimited union contributions. Unions are a group of real persons chipping in $20 to a fund.
Corporate contributions are the money elites shielding their real life asses from real world consequences... like prison terms from legislation with real penalties.
