When Rachal Maddow, Paul Krugman and Wendell Potter all agree |
|
the Dems in the house should listen and pass the Senate bill, as bad as it is, and then do fixes that can be passed via reconciliation in the Senate.

3. I've been convinced this is the best thing to do now |

It took me a long time to get to that point but I agree.

4. Yeah. Me too. Unhappily. |

But some poor people will be better off with it than without it. Even if it is a rip-off. Awful to contemplate, but in these times I guess we gotta accept whatever crumbs TPTB decide to throw at us.

5. Its too much a crap shoot to pass that bill in the House |
|
The Senate is too compromised to be assured they would bargain in good faith during reconciliation.

6. I respect those folks but until they explain away my concerns with the structure |
|
and function they may as well be a gang of monkeys with a Ouija board.
They should have been talking their shit months ago rather than trying to get liberals to fold for the trillionth time and this time for a toxic dump that Potter at least admits is such.
Medical inflation, retirements, cost shifting, benefit reduction, increased government costs, and the resulting shrinking customer base will bring this to a head not much longer than this crap goes into effect.
How long will you be able to keep paying them? How much longer can the system sustain it's self? How much outcry will there be as people are thrown off and continue to die quickly?
That house cannot stand. Anyone talking the generation spin is fucking high.
