I convinced my Brother in Law to like Medicare for All |
|
He watches O'Reilly and Beck. Loves Reagan and Bush. Listens to Limbaugh.
But after a nice talk with him, he thought the SCOTUS decision was horrible. And when I explained that the tax increase to pay for Medicare For All would be less than the premiums he now pays, he went for it.
It's not that hard. If the Dems had been pushing this as a meme since '94, we could have pulled it off.
Sure, there's a core of Freepers we can never reach. But most Republicans are able to be taught if we do it respectfully and APPEAL TO THEIR BOTTOM LINE. That's the key.

1. I've been trying to push that for a while along with a few others |

But nobody appears to highlight this much.
I just don't get it. I would think it would click if the taxes used for this was less than the premiums they currently pay.
