My eyes haven't been dry since the Help for Haiti Telethon began --
They're doing an outstanding job, incredible talent, and the generosity of all those actors/celebrities to help out is so touching.

for whatever reason, they are doing it and it will help Haiti. That's the bottom line.

I've got colleagues with family still in Haiti and they can't even get down to help.

380,000 orphans before the quake, now even more. What has decimated Haiti in terms of loss of these children's parents? Sorry, for my stupidity.

to see and listen to the love being poured out for our sisters and brothers in Haiti.

My heart is in my throat- and my eyes are streaming along with you.

This kind of puts sharp focus on what is really important.

43. Sometimes when I am cynical about human nature........
I am uplifted by things like this. And sometimes when I think my troubles are big, I realize that they are very, very small compared to others.

I urge everyone on DU to call, or go on the website and donate something.

when we look OUT, when we allow our hearts to open, we see that isn't true at all.
