Even corporations that are supposedly (ours) are multinationals and have no loyalty to anything but cash. How could you let Ford buy a Senator, they have operations all over the world. Then deny Toyota they probably have as many employees in the US as Ford does. What about Exxon why should they be able to buy themselves a Senator and then you deny Venezuela's Citgo from getting theirs.

Those are the people that SCOTUS allegedly is trying to protect, the folks that invest in the corporations and expect a profit.

9. Exactly Americans have shares in Toyota or

just about any similar foreign multinational. The way I understand it it doesn't matter where the Corporation is from or who owns it even one that is owned by a foreign government or just a foreign individual. Is any corporation a citizen of the US? I am a citizen of the US and if I own stock in Toyota I have a right to my free speech the same as a shareholder in Ford don't I?

it is just screwed up. Shareholders do not have any control over the operations of the corporation. They cannot pick or choose who the corporation supports.

West Virginia, Don Blankenship already bought himself a WV Supreme Court Judge and pretty much owns the Governor. His Massey Energy will spend whatever it takes to defeat Rocky and Byrd. Big business is going to put John Kasich in as governor of Ohio and they will replace Sherrod Brown with a Republican. This will give the Republicans the power to unseat just about any incumbent they desire to.
