Will outbursts like the "You Lie" episode during the presidents last speech to both houses of Congress be treated any differently this time 'round? If not, who's gunna cash in this time? Can Speaker Pelosi have the Sergeant at Arms immediately eject any Congresscritter who interrupts from the floor?

and fist fights look like models of decorum. Members of Congress carried loaded guns in chambers, and things sometimes got a little out of hand - see the beating of Charles Sumner, in 1856, for example.

C-span sometimes shows the British and Irish parliament sessions, which do get lively: I'd actually like to see more of that from our folks.

put up or shut up with actual evidence, then and there. His challenger will likely either froth at the mouth or slink away with tail between legs. There are that many people that can out-talk Obama on his feet, IMO.

9. They heckle at their own peril

Most Americans understand the decorum that is required at a SOTU speech. I dare them to heckle. It WILL NOT go over well with the vast majority of people in this country, including the few sane conservatives that exist.
