And we don’t intend to. When this ruling came down, I instructed my administration to get to work immediately with Members of Congress willing to fight for the American people to develop a forceful, bipartisan response to this decision. We have begun that work, and it will be a priority for us until we repair the damage that has been done.

My prediction/worry: The bill that Obama/Congress comes up with will be aimed at restricting special interest involvement (like unions) in politics but shall leave room for corporate influence via strategic loopholes placed into the bill by republicans and accepted by "compromising" democrats. Of course, this is only true if they even bother to do anything about this besides give pretty populist speeches.

I hope that I am wrong and that Obama is actually serious about this issue and will push meaningful reform through. However, after this healthcare disaster, it would be wise for us to prepare for the worst.

1. I'm not worried about that.
I just hope that his response- and the response of the Congress- is actually forceful and meaningful.

2. ICAM. Of COURSE there will be loopholes just for corporations!
Neither Obama nor congress will ever risk pissing them off. Unions? Pffft.
