1. Am I just thick, or does this cartoon require a little context . . .
(by which I mean what's a red lightbulb vs a white lightbulb) to make any sense at all?

6. I was wonder that too.... But I'm hoping the red bulbs mean that those on the
hill know that the people don't want to be left behind while corporate america is made to feel safe from debt, and risk... It is just a hunch.

7. Does that mean Scott Brown will do a striptease in the WH?
It still makes NO sense at all.

4. Incandescent Light Bulbs?!
I am having difficult getting the joke here.

Does it have something to do with incandescent light bulbs? Wasted energy?

Why is there a red light bulb in a tree in the cartoon on the left?

8. Does the Supreme Court decision turn Congress into a red light district?
Cause that's my only guess.

10. But That Isn't News
It isn't news that the people in congress are all prostitutes to big corporation "persons".

That has been the case for a long, long time.

11. I'm referring to the Supreme Court decision handed down this week

12. It Only Increases The Fee That Members of Congress Can Charge
All the SC decision really did is permit members of Congress (prostitutes to corporate interests before the SC decision) increase the fee they charge for their vote.

It is not news that members of Congress have, for a very long time, been prostitutes to big corporations.

13. That's why the first panel on the cartoon has some white bulbs
The second panel shows all the bulbs are now red.

It's a cartoon. I'm trying to make sense of it. I know what your talking about but I'm simply trying to figure out the cartoon.
