How does one take down a Behemoth?
One carefully placed precise and surgical strike on it's body destroying it's capability to feed and sustain itself? One thousand tiny cuts leaving the beast to bleed to death? A trap to ensnare the beast, entangle it and then watch it fall to the ground being crushed under it's weight? Move out range of the beast so you don't come into contact with it? Clearly trying to pen the animal and domesticate it is not working.

1. When it is acting beastly, shame it.
Think of the power his mother has over the biggest badass.

They don't have uniformed armies with billion-dollar weapons, so they use the limited means they do have.. Very effective at causing destruction, chaos, and fear, and making their enemy take notice of them and upend their own world.

We sure do need a nonviolent way to take down our beast. I'm all ears.

7. Hopefully the behemoth being referred to is not the US. Some see it that way.

5. We all know the answer to this. We just aren't willing to do it.
(I have to say I am mystified by the early unrecs to this. I assume they are made by people who don't understand "metaphor" and didn't want to look up "Behemoth")

This Behemoth's blood is not red; it is green. If one third of the people who voted for Barack Obama would 1.)turn off the TV; 2.)buy only what they NEED, and that at the cheapest brand or version available; and, 3.)in general, put themselves on the budget they imagine they'd have to live on if we HAD slipped into another Depression, the effects would be felt almost immediately.

After just a week or so of this, once the "green anemia" was pretty obvious,we'd want to let them know just what we were doing and what it would take to return to some improved version of "business as usual".

That absolutely would work, but it would take organization, commitment and sacrifice.

We have the organization.
