God wanted the Colts to win?
Did anyone else catch Irsay basically claiming that in accepting the Lamar Hunt trophy?
Did God also tell his old man to move the Colts in the middle of the night from Baltimore to Indianapolis?

13. I thought the pact with Satan was made by Joe Namath prior to Super Bowl III
and that was how they beat the Colts in '69.

20. No, that was sweet Jesus lifting Broadway Joe
The pact with Satan came when those dimwits on the defensive line started calling themselves the New York Sack Exchange, thereby freeiong up everybody to like Wall Street and thereby wrecking the whole world.

6. Did Joe Namath make one before Super Bowl III?
Is that why Broadway Joe guaranteed a win? It all makes sense now.

10. Irsay isn't weird in that way
He has ensured the preservation of Kerouac's original scroll for On the Road.

His wife is very new age-y... from the little bit I've been in her presence.

anyway, just to say that I've had reason to be around them, not because I know them, and they don't seem to be all that right wing.

But he did start to imply that God wanted the Colts to win...
...then he seemed to catch himself on what he was saying.

18. I didn't hear it, or watch the game
in fact, I just heard the game was today on... Friday.

so, I'm not a football fan at all.

I was just commenting on a moment when, by weirdness, I was around them and my impression.

...but, you know, he may be playing to his audience for all I know.

23. Well it might look that way, but I think God has something up his sleeve...
He's gonna let the Vikings get one point ahead for most of the game, then in the last 1/2 second of the 4th quarter, God is gonna come down in a Saints uniform and kick the game winning field goal.

Not after the way they stole the Browns from Cleveland. Bunch of hypocrites. I support Irsay due to the actions of that city.
