Maybe CashCall.com can loan him the money for bail?

7. The One & The Same...

Coleman did commercials in the early 70s when he was a cute kid and before his Hollywood days.

8. Sam Koukios, Hubert's creator, 1929-2009
Sam Koukios drew Hubert, the lion for Harris Bank, for 30 years and brought fresh life to the bespectacled mascot, whose lineage traces back to the golden era of spokes-critters like Tony the Tiger.

Mr. Koukios, 79, of Mt. Prospect died of complications from lung cancer on Monday, June 22, in Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, said his son Steven. Mr. Koukios previously lived in Niles for more than 40 years.

Mr. Koukios faithfully attended Harris Bank promotional events to sign Hubert posters and meet with customers.

His son said that over the years, Hubert became practically an extension of Mr. Koukios.

“Hubert was his friend,” his son said. “Hubert was almost like my dad’s alter ego. He sort of animated Hubert. He brought him to life.”
