That puts Castle in a very good position. Yes, he's a repub.

2. Castle is a liberal Repub, if there is such a thing anymore.
Unless he tries to change himself to fit in with the Repub leadership.

Beau has had a tough year and been away from his family for a long time. And no guarantee he will be elected. It would have been a very close, tough race.
